UNC-NTP-NCGC collaboration is awarded a 2nd place Best Annual Student Poster in a competition held at the Spring 2011 NC Society of Toxicology Meeting

Nour Abdo, MPH, a graduate research assistant at the Department of Environmental Sciences and Engineering at UNC's Gillings School of Global Public Health was recognized as 2nd place best student poster presenter at the Spring NC Society of Toxicology Meeting in RTP, NC. The poster entitled "Population-Based Quantitative High-Throughput Screening (QHTS) for Chemical Toxicity" was co-authored by N Abdo, S O'Shea, O Kosyk, E Lock, F Wright, R Huang, M Xia, C Austin, R Rice, and I Rusyn. This work conducted in Project 2 was a collaboration between the Center and researchers at the National Toxicology program and NIH Chemical Genomics Center.
